How You Can Succeed In Marketing in 2012

Succeeding in 2012

Building a List:

You’ve heard this a million times, but I’m gonna beat it into you even more. Building a list can be one of your most valuable assets, especially when you put out great content and products.
If you can make yourself a celebrity in your niche, you will get paid handsomely for it.
Some tips:
  • Promote relevant offers.
  • Promote your products FIRST.
  • Test your squeeze page! It should convert over 50%. If not, you need to test a lot more…
  • Have a popup on your squeeze. You want to grab as many leads as you can.
  • Good solid followup sequence in place.
  • 10-14 messages in place with good solid content and a mix of selling in there

Having Your OWN Product:
Why wouldn’t you have your own product in the niche your in?
Even if you don’t know that much about the niche you can always outsource the product creation.
You can get an exceptional copywriter on the Warrior Forum for $200-$500 and convert relatively well right out of the gate.
Design is another $100-$300 depending on the designer.
Before you know it, you have your own product with a nice design and it converts.

Driving HUGE Amounts of Traffic for Cheap:
Facebook Fan Pages.
Here’s why:
  • After they like the page, they can be marketed to over and over again unless they unlike the page
  • CHEAP Traffic – Never before has it been as easy to get .01-.05 clicks
  • Drive them anywhere at any time with a simple status update
WEBINARS:
You absolutely need to use webinars in your marketing if you think your gonna make it anywhere in 2012. Imagine having no list, one little product and a good webinar.
$10,000-$50,000 in 60 minutes.
That’s what a webinar can do for you. It’s an absolute must have for 2012.

2012 Plans

What’s going on?

Figured I’d go over my 2012 plans in a blog post and tell you what you should be looking out for..

 

2012

  • Daily content to my subscribers. Useful content that will help you make more sales, get more leads, and overall be a better marketer
  • Building a Ultimate Sales Funnel. This is what I will be working on with Rob Toth. This should be a lot of people’s goals in 2012 if you haven’t started it yet. Knowing you can put a $1 into advertising into your funnel and then $2- or more comes out.
  • Building a recognized brand. Still working on a name though. Enough of one off promotions, it’s all gonna go under one roof.
  • 4 Product launches. Still planning these out, but should be big.
  • Expand my new clothing line and get into stores. Clothing line is called NJ X. Pic Below..

Already got all of the t-shirts, just need to get the website up and running. My clothing line might be my main business one day, but for now it’s a side one.

So I wanted to post about something that means a lot to me today.

The one word is MOTIVATION. Something that gets me out of bed everyday and gets me to try new things and keep working hard and having success.

I really think this is the difference between successful people and just average Joe’s.

If your willing to never give up and give it your all 100% of the time in whatever you do, I GUARANTEE you can be a success.

Wanna make money online? Try a course and stick with it until it works. 99% of the courses of there work well, you just have to stick with it.

Too many complainers out there that are stuck with mediocre lives and mediocre incomes.

Stop f—ing around and get something done today.

Google Website Hosting Isn’t Viable for Entrepreneurs

When you’re just starting your online business, using free services like Google website hosting might not seem like that big of a deal. It might even seem to make financial sense – but experienced marketers know better than to use free hosting services.

For one, your website is usually (although not always) supported by ads. Not only are these ads bulky, but they might even be promoting services or products that are your competition or that you don’t want your visitors exposed to.

A common issue with free hosting services like Google Sites is that your storage is limited. You can’t store a lot of large videos or ebooks on your website. But perhaps the most disturbing problem with using a free hosting service is the chance that you’ll be mistakenly labeled as a spammer.

When you’re using a free host and you’re accidentally marked as a spammer, then your account could be suspended or deleted without warning – which means the hours you poured into creating and maintaining your website are now wasted.

Even if your website was legitimate and you followed all of the anti-spam rules, odds are high you won’t get it back. While Google Sites is a great option for personal use – like putting up family albums, or keeping up to date with relatives who live in another state, it’s not a hosting company like Hostgator for example, so as an entrepreneur you won’t get the features you’re looking for.

Another problem encountered by entrepreneurs who use free hosting is the lack of technical support. Most free hosting providers simply don’t have the resources to answer every support request.

Instead, you can spend valuable time that you could use on marketing efforts searching for information on how to fix your broken website. There’s also the issue of free hosting companies that go out of business.

Since the free hosting business model can be difficult to maintain, you can wake up one morning to realize your entire website is gone. Another problem with free sites is they are often branded with the hosting company’s logo, making it difficult for you to effectively build your brand. If a visitor knows you use a free hosting company, they’ll wonder where else you’re willing to cut corners in your business.

There is also the forwarding headache. For instance, say you purchase business cards or other marketing material with your free domain name on it. Your domain name is something like thebestfreehostingservice.com/flowerdelivery.

If you place this domain name on all of your promotional material, what happens when you’re ready to move on to a paid hosting service? You can’t – because free hosts don’t allow you to forward your domain when you leave their service.

You’re then forced to build all of your search engine rankings again. Free sites like Google website hosting won’t let you take your template with you when you go either so you’ll have to re-brand your site all over again. You’ll save yourself a lot of headaches and additional work by purchasing a real hosting plan when you first create your website.
